How we use AI
We use AI to work faster. We do not use it to invent news.
Where AI is used
- Drafting. An AI model writes a short script or summary from one published source article.
- Checking. A second AI pass compares the draft with the article and flags numbers, names, quotes or claims that are not in it.
- Voice. Voiceovers in our videos are synthetic. Videos carry an on-screen AI label.
- Images. Most images are licensed stock photos. If an image is AI-generated, the caption says so.
Where AI is not used
- Choosing what to cover. A person picks every story.
- Publishing. A person reviews each story before it goes live.
- Making up quotes, sources, people or events. If the source does not say it, we do not either.
Limits you should know about
AI can misread a source or leave out context. A short summary is never the full story. That is why every story links to the original report, and why we ask you to check it for anything important.
If it goes wrong
Tell us at [email protected]. We correct or remove the story and note the change on the page. See corrections.
