One Dead, Several Injured in Rollercoaster Incident at Six Flags Georgia

One person died and several others were injured in a rollercoaster incident at Six Flags Over Georgia.

Police are investigating the fatality, but have not disclosed how the person died or the injuries sustained.

Aerial footage showed the Goliath rollercoaster stopped midway with riders being helped off by workers.

Witnesses reported a man was ejected from the ride and struck the rollercoaster before falling onto a nearby roof.

Six Flags said it is cooperating with authorities and temporarily closed similar rides across its parks as a precaution.
