Our standards, in plain words
What 72 News is, what it is not, and what you can hold us to.
72 News is an independent project owned and run by Mustafa Aşan. It is not a newsroom and it does not do original reporting.
What we do
- Summarise published reporting in plain English.
- Name the source on screen and on the story page.
- Link to the original so you can read the full report.
What we do not do
- Add facts, numbers, names or quotes that are not in the source.
- Present stock images as photos of the event.
- Take paid placement in stories.
If you spot a mistake
